Re: Love what you do

i gotta say, hunters rock.

PULLING- hunters are awsome pullers. we can chose th mob we want to pull, shoot it, bring it to the tank and then feign death so you are COMPLETELY erased from the mob's hate-list.

FREEZE TRAP- quite possibly the most versatle CC device out there (sheep only human/beast) (sap only human) (banish only.... whatever it is that warlocks can banish)... so forth... catch is, it only lasts 20 sec, but that is all u need if the hunter pulls 2 mobs, the 1st mob will usually be dead by the time the iced one breaks free.

FEIGN DEATH- quite possibly the best thing out there. say we are fighting mobs in UBRS.. if i crit too many times in a row(i dont know how i do it, but i crit alot, for alot), i will become a priority on the mobs hate-list, enter aggro: no biggie, just one click away from the mob thinking im dead. then i can go back to wrecking havoc on him from afar(remember, i am now at the bottom of the hate-list, untill i do massive damage again).

~ OH NO, i ran out of mana in a really long boss fight, all i have to do is click feign death and that drops me COMPLETELY out of combat, so i can eat/drink the return to combat

~OH NO, a sheep broke loose, thats ok, i can just feign death, then lay an ice trap, and distract shot the at-large-mob and lure it into my trap, BOOM: CC for another 20 sec, and if i time it right, i can feign death and lay another trap, so when that trap breaks free, he will run towards me and get frozen again.

KITING- quite possibly one of the funnest skills that, while not necessarily hunter-specific, but i dont know any other class that can successfully kite and live to tell about it. The most common kite that hunters use is kiting Drak to the beast room, while the rest of the party lays the smack down on the 2 guards that are on either side of Drak, once the hunter gets to the far side of the beast room, just feign death, and drak comes crusin back to the party, just in time to see the last guard get killed, and at that time MT can gather aggro and continue on like a normal fight. thats not the only kiting i have done tho. when i am bored, i kite 62 elites to the nearest city,( i kited Emberstrife(the dragon u have to kill to get the UBRS key) all the way to Orgrimmar), and have made many attempts at kiting Volchan(62elite in burning stepps) all the way to SW, which continually fails because some NOOB in redridge decides to hit/smack/shoot him(thus i lose aggro and then he disappears).

PETS- pets are by far, the BEST weapon a hunter has, i would rather go without a gun than without a pet when i solo, pets act like a personal tank for hunters, and a good hunter will NEVER get hit when he/she is soloing. and ppl dont give enough credit to hunters pets in end game( they DO pick some weird paths sometimes,(ask crebis)). but i feel comftorble with my pet by my side in MC(i wont have him out tho =.( )

DAMAGE- i would have to say: hunters have AWSOME damage, i can, time after time, get top spot on the damage charts in raids(example: last ZG : first 3 damage done: Chair. Crebis, Zedd) notice that 2 hunters outdamaged a mage.

CRITS- i gotta say, they are good and bad, good because they do massive damage, often too, but bad because if u have one big crit, or many not-so-big crits in a short period of time, u will have aggro, fast.(enter feign death) my best crit being 2508 since i DL an addon called CritLine(shows highest crits and other stuff) but i had a 2702 crit before that.

The reasons listed above, might be why there are SOO MANY hunters in this game, but i started mine first =P and i dont see me not playing him in the near future (or the distant furure for the matter)
