ACE.EXE a trojan?
Well AVG just called the EXE file for ACE a trojan horse and deleted in completely. I won't be on for a bit till i re download the thing. MY family is hogging the connection thru the day so i have to DL it overnight. Sorry guys.

I use AVG myself, I had no flags. It might be scripting for a file name and picked it up, but for some reason I think thats it.

It sees it as a trojan because AO activates hackshield, which works the same way punkbuster does (remember when AVG called pb a virus?). Just tell AVG to shut its yap and you'll be alright.

I tried that but it still doesn't work, and now AVG is blabbing non stop about it being a trojan. Screw this, I'm UNINSTALLING.

im not sure why you are having an issue. Ive got that combo installed on 4 computers and dont have any problems.

Ok i uninstalled, wiped that area clean, redownloaded it, and AVG (this is the free version btw) is still babbling about it. It is preventing me from using the EXE now no matter how many times i tell it to ignore or restore.

Unless McAfee is stupid, I didnt detect anything.
And yes I updated.
Also checked with Spybot S&D with latest updates.
