I think now's the time to call our first guild meeting. The game's been released for 1 week and it seems like most people have a grasp of the game. As well, many of the bugs causing issues (like the trader) with moving fwd. have been fixed.
Things to discuss: 1) Guild rank structure 2) Assigning Officers 3) Decide on the RP-Guild name 4) Decide on where to reserve land for our first city (Aquilonia, Cimmeria, or Stygia) 5) Decide on a city name 6) Organize guild donations (resources) for city construction... namely the Keep 7) Decide on our core PVP values (how we play and are perceived by others) 8) Organize the TS channels once and for all 9) Decide on a tax structure, if we have one at all (see #6) 10) Organize a working KOS (kill-on-sight) list for individuals and enemy guilds 11) Deciding when future meetings will take place (generally for officers only and at the very least bi-weekly, if not weekly) 12) Organize a recruiting campaign and goals 13) Forum structure 14) IHS (in-house squad) Interaction and goals 15) PvP practice (guild PvP points seem to now be active btw) This first meeting should be open to ALL who wish to attend and have a voice and make the effort to attend. Utilizing only the forums currently to make all these decisions is slow and cumbersome and can be confusing (especially when inactive players post their thoughts); TS is our greatest tool for many important guild decisions. All subsequent meetings though will generally be for the officership, most likely, once things get ironed out. Look at this meeting as the initial "kick-start" to the guild. Know this... I'm just suggesting this, not trying to step on any toes. I have no aspirations to lead the guild (I travel too much), just offering assistance and observations. But, the time has come to kick things into high gear since I sense we'll start "bleeding" recruits as the initial interest in the game peaks. Yes, slow and steady wins the race... but we should also be organized while maintaining quality casual yet tactical gameplay. The benefits of being in a Guild must bear fruit (or start to) to get the most out of the game and our experiences in it together. ESPECIALLY since we're on a PvP server - where competition is fierce. If we get left in the dust, we die... plain and simple. So... what about a TIME? Usually guilds have their meetings in the middle of the week so as to avoid conflicting with "going out" on the weekends. I think for this meeting though we should have it tomorrow; there is a sense of controlled urgency here. Perhaps 2100 Hours EST Friday (tomorrow) Night? Late enough to grab the PST folks and early enough so that if people do need to go out, they still can. What say thee??

Re: Time to have our first meeting?
Gambit, I think you should petition the TG gods, and get a "private" forum to discuss inner guild infastructure. It would be much more orginized if each of the now three guilds had their own sub forums here. TG, Ironwolves ( so that the other guilds can contact them IC/OOC) and the OCM.
