I'd like to point out, to the PvE guys, that PvE is usually very important to the PvP machine. In most games player vs. player warfare is very expensive, and a great deal of time is spent gathering resources, running newbies through PvE areas to get their experience up and teach them tactics, constructing and maintaining resources, and just goofing around and slaying dragons, because let's face it, a successful PvP match takes a lot of control and coordination, whereas you can usually get a few guys together and go whomp mobs for a while without having to put too much effort into it.
Personally, I'm gunning for PvP, because I find it much more fun, people being rascally, untrustworthy, and prone to dirty tricks and low cunning. But even in a PvP server I'm still going to participate in a lot of PvE, and ultimately, if the group decides to go hit mobs for a while I'm going to go with them. I love the Conan setting and all, but what I really look forward to is participating in that setting in the company of a band of mature, tactically aware fellow gamers who can use smarts and coordination to beat up anyone and anything that comes against them.
