It's open beta, so I don't care to much.

I must say, I'm a bit disappointed with the turnout on TeamSpeak. With all the hype for this game even just within TG I expected a much bigger presence for such a huge open beta. Hell, we had more for Tabula Rasa even (even just for beta). I'm sure there's a good reason though, like a weekday, bugs, etc. But, I hope it's not a sign of things to come.

I did notice people playing and not hopping onto TS.... that aint cool. Even if you'd like "quiet time," it's still very helpful to just be in-channel even with your mic/headset muted. It shows you're supporting the game and the guild.

Regardless, it's a lot more fun lopping off heads when you can harp about it on TS.

I was on another TS server, we had about 8 at one point and averaged probably 6. Lots of lively discussion.

So Damonte has to ask... what's going on with this? He's assuming that a number of people are still playing the beta, but the Teamspeak channel is empty. For a proposed TG-based guild, why utilize Teamspeak resources somewhere else?

I've been on and playing the Beta. I think players sometimes just forgot about going to TS. Once the full game is out we will have a full channel.

I've been on when I was playing over the past few days, and I've only ever seen Undead on there (and he had muted his speaker :P). Kinda sucks, but it's about what I saw with the Tabula Rasa beta too; very few people on, if any.

In the first few months of TR, there were at times up to a dozen people in channel.

The difference with TR is that there wasn't as much of a need for grouping for protection as there will likely be in AoC.
