creating an account
Ok, so when I launch the game, it says to put in my username and password... where does that come from? when i click 'Manage Account' all it does it bring me to a page that is down for approx. 6 hours it says... so where do i make an account at?

I'm a bit scared because I DLed from a different source and when I put in my username/pass I get "invalid login." I HOPING it's because the servers are down.

If you put in your account login info correctly you should be getting a Authenitcation Failure message. I think even if you put the info in wrong you'll get this message. I would start downloading from Fileplanet just incase.

I do get "Authentication Failure. Please note that passwords are case sensitive." Im HOPING it's because the authentication servers are down since the beta isnt live yet. I'm able to use the separate patch client login just fine (you have to login to patch), so chances are that's the issue. The cur. version I have is 1.0.2008.429.

Edit, found it.
1.0.2008.501 is the correct game version you needed, I believe I had the .429 version when I downloaded it from Funcom, that was the "General Beta" client. So unless your's will patch to this version, you'll need to download it again. This client is from Fileplanet.|TG-12th|Undead

If the default install folder is "IGN Beta..." something or other then you have the open beta.
