WHat?!?! No Welcome Thread?
Jeez! I expected a warmer welcome from barbarians than this!
Anyways...was thinking on picking up the mantle of MMOs again ( haven't played seriously since EQ around 98, dabbled in guild wars). Was just wondering who all was gearing up for this? I've been burnt on 2142 sfor awhile now, and was thinking to myself, " Hey...how did I use to spend my nights?"
Well, I'm been married for some time now, so the wenching days are long gone. But what hoe...! Here comes AoC.
The reason my wife and I stopped playing EQ was the time commitment. We had our first child and I didn't want to neglect him. We were spending almost every available moment online! I don't know what time we can commit to the game, but a couple hours a night or on the weekend might not be so bad. THe kids are older now and they are in bed by 8 anyways...so let steel ring!
