Anyone from the west coast have ping issues during OB?
Man, I coulda swore they put the servers in Texas. hmmm They must be setting up for the Euro contingent also then (since they're on the e. coast). Our Euro players will be happy about that (there are many of em).

But, are Euro players allowed to play on US servers?

Not unless they bought a box from a US retailer.

And daith1, I've been in plenty of PvP fights in closed beta.

Those that are fearful that the pops might be too low, fear not... give it some time and it'll fill up for sure (TG-WoW on Thunderhorn was low pop at first and then became the laggiest server in Azeroth after the 1st year). Regardless, all these servers will be generally full because the pre-release is sold out.

If you're worried about recruitment... learn to recruit outside the game and bring folks to us instead of the other way around. I.e. peeps will find good guilds BEFORE they start playing and learn which servers they're on.

Pretty much what ever Gambit says I agree with. Omm or Bane (Bane over Omm) would work great.

So it looks like for PvE, we're definitely going Omm? Any "official" confirmation/decision here? Or are we just going to go with whoever manages to get on the servers first?

PvP server looked like Bane to start with, though fldash mentioned Doomsayer as well.

Not sure if it'd be better to get our ducks in a row now, or if there will be possible extenuating circumstances come Saturday.

There just might be extenuating circumstances, so no move to say which server we'll be on should really be made until Saturday. We could tentatively say Omm and Bane though. Unless folk want to be on another server... perhaps put up a quick 36 hr. poll to decide?

Anyways, you never know which servers will be up or down once they go live. Many times they just trickle online, creating a bottleneck as they go... this would be bad - and would require us to be smart and wait a bit until more servers open. Hopefully, they'll all come up simulataneously.

[rant] Them bastards at Amazon took too long to get my pre-order key, when in fact I had pre-ordered it back in the middle of April. Took me contacting customer support and by the time they sent me the key, the frikin AoC registration page tells me that Early Access is sold out. Bastards! [/rant]

Looks like I'll be joining you guys on the 23. >.<

How did you contact them? I need to do the same. I wont use the key... but it would just be nice to have.

I just logged into amazon, used the Customer support contact email, and sent them a message saying, hey wheres my key? Next day, it was in my inbox
