    Good stuff. However, doesn't appear that they have released the location (EST,CNT,PST) of the individual servers unless I'm missing something.

    Since they're all US servers it's safe to assume it's a server farm in Austin, TX (i.e. central). So, they basically took the guesswork out of the picture for us. Everyone from coast to coast should be fine. Hell, during beta my ping never went above 80.

    Well, I see that they have two servers recommended for Oceanic players. Wouldn't this make it seem like the servers are in different locations? If everything is in Texas, what benefit is there in putting all the Oceanic players on a specific server?

    Obviously, those are separate server locations. The Oceanic peoples just got to piggyback on the US release instead of the Euro release... hence, that's why they're in the US release notes.

    I vote for Omm and Bane. The 2 servers most likely to have low pops at release. They're in the middle of the list and their names are short and ugly.

    Those that are fearful that the pops might be too low, fear not... give it some time and it'll fill up for sure (TG-WoW on Thunderhorn was low pop at first and then became the laggiest server in Azeroth after the 1st year). If it doesnt fill up, that means the game is sucking... and it wouldnt matter anyways, because we wouldnt be playing. Regardless, all these servers will be generally full because the pre-release is sold out.

    If you're worried about recruitment... learn to recruit outside the game and bring folks to us instead of the other way around. I.e. peeps will find good guilds BEFORE they start playing and learn which servers they're on.

    All servers are either in Raleigh, NC or Newark, NJ... Can't remember which...

    FWIW: The CB servers are in Europe and I'm in Oklahoma and I don't notice any lag at all.

    High ping doesn't mean lag but I'm amusing at later level PvP it will become more like fps type games where the difference in ping of 70 can make all the difference.
