Modified ToS after this discussion about the need to reduce aggro (Will also need to do a similar thing with other classes).

HoX mod after research. Great for PvP if paired with a healer, not so much for PvE.

Re: **Character Builds**
Nice, although I prefer the look of the Carnage tree for Conq, due to the combos, and from what I've heard it seems that high melee AoE is the main thing going for Conqueror's.
But obviously I'm a n00b, so enlighten me dude

"The Blademaster" Revisited
http://feats.goonheim.com/conqueror#...AB::acg3ijlmnp
I redid this guy after having some experience fooling with stuff and after the recent patches. They nerfed dual-wield combat speed, so I made him more weapon neutral (feats that only apply to both 2H and DW). I put more points into the various stances and put points into counterstriking abilities (cunning deflection is way cool). Being an "endgame" build, all the grp. oriented feats are maxed.
So this guy basically equips his best weapon and goes for it. Every 30 secs. he applies ridiculous burst damage, and when hit he counterattacks for more dmg.
p.s.
Having fully specced Inspire the Ranks is critical or Stamina is lost way too fast.
note: I see no real advantage AOE-wise with 2H as opposed to DW. DW's main attack "Bloodbath" is a wide spinning attack that wreaks havoc on anyone standing nearby... moreso than 2H's Furious Strikes. If you toolbar 2 bloodbath combos you're good to go. But, I'm speccing away from this since alt. target dmg. was decreased heavily - smarter to burn down 1 man at a time.

Re: **Character Builds**
Nice build... The Brute tree is definitely the more preferred tree for endgame and long battles. Carnage is a bit trickier to use, but overall the DPS in the short-term is higher and the group buffs a bit more profound. I tend to switch between 2H and DW in longer fights (depends on what I need to do).
I did have a build that worked its way to "Throat Slash" in the Brute tree, but I really liked the soldier tree. I feel heavily gimped though not having a stun besides "Batter Aside." I might have to play with "Crippling Bloodbath."
I can tell your build is the ultimate leveling build. Do you plan to change it later on? I was getting to the point where I was grouping a lot so I planned to switch to a more group oriented build by lvl 60.
I will say this though, as of now I do feel slightly less powerful speccing a bit more away from DW, but I'm hoping it'll stabilize in a few levels. <sigh> chances are we'll all be re-speccing again when they tweak the game some more.

A little different but if you ever plan to engage a magic user in pvp or you learn other classes power combos cunning deflection will make them cry. Frenzy stance is not a smart thing to be using a lot and you really shouldn't plan to get hit in frenzy, open with it and switch in for big combos but if you are using it all the time without a healer or main tank you are gimping yourself.

Re: **Character Builds**
Thing with Frenzy is you have to get used to switching stances a lot (which I love doing). If you spec to it you really CAN mitigate the received dmg. a lot - but there's not much room for error; one missed click and you're gimped. For obtaining aggro. it works a HELLUVA lot better then hateful strikes, and you're not forced into putting points into hate-generating feats.
"Cunning" seems to help somewhat at shedding aggro, but I havent tested it fully specced. It IS an ability I've always had my eye on since day 1 though (and a main reason why I went carnage). It's basically there to keep you in Frenzy longer, but against Rend Flesh, annihlate, etc. it's not enough most of the time. I usually pop it after those effects wear off... depending on the Tank.
Only thing that really sux is trying to get fatalities. Most of the time the DOTs finish them off and you dont get it. That's one HUGE benefit to being 2H/Brute, is you get a lot more finishing moves... rather, they're easier to time.
I do indeed Love Cunning Deflection though... nice to just sit there, watch them unload, and then die from their own damage. Coupled with imp. def stance, counterstrike and anticipation you're doing nice damage just doing nothing. I'd love to try it on a Herald.

Re: **Character Builds**
It's a good levelling build but I've found it to be very good in pvp as well. I don't go for pure damage in pve. I use my stamina to evade, hide and block instead of letting combo's go while IGODS and Shield aura do their thing. Combined with lumber hulk and frenzy to finish them off, It's pretty uber so far.
