The old AO chat bot library has been ported to AoC. Theres been one release so far but I'm still waiting for another project's release before I check it out.

Before anybody cries DOOOOOOOM:
They do not control the player in any way, they can only chat.
They can only speak in guild chat or respond to tells.

People have done all sorts of cool things in AO with these. It can provide you with a clickable link of guild or game information when you logon, or anytime you ask for it. Such as what we need to build the next phase of constuction of the guild city. What combos and spells your class gets and at what levels. One day when the item database is complete it can lookup and item on the db and give you clickable info. It would be able to maintain a database of guild characters, levels, classes, professions and be used to coordinate events. They are really versatile and you can write your own modules for it fairly easily.

I'm going to keep looking into this and work on implementing one.
