Anybody interested in pvp practice?
I know I'm not very good at it. When 3 of us chase down a ganker and either lose or can't manage to make it not worth their time to keep coming after us there is a problem.

Yes, I need some practice
Haven't tried the PVP mini-games yet. Could be a good place to start.

Re: Anybody interested in pvp practice?
I would like to say, the best way to practice PvP is to look at what is giving you the most problems. I.E. classes or group of classes. Then take your members that are that class/group and start slaughtering them until they don't give you any more problems. This helps two fold. One, it shows where weaknesses are with each class, and it teaches crowd control. Also the ones who are playing the problem classes also learn the same thing. Practice among yourselves first, before trying the mini games. The Mini games are no where near the same as world PvP, so do not use them as a gauge of how well your doing PvP. Most of the time when you have to defend yourselves from gankers, your usually almost done with a mob and not at full health. So, go out to your guild city, and have one group start north and the other group start at the south, and start resourcing/killing mobs. When the groups meet it will be under a simulated world PvP attack. If you can, do multiple groups and play last group standing. All the losers gather in the zone until only one group remains outside the city.
Just some ideas to help you guys out.
Otherwise you could always contract Syndicus to attack you when we see you, to give you real world practice without knowing when it will come...

http://files.filefront.com/Mephs+Rag.../fileinfo.html Just watch it don't go omg it's about/for assassins the ideas taught in that can apply to every melee user. The only thing is the active block cancel is not a good idea anymore unless you have some ability that gives a lot of stamina.

Thanks for the tips. I had downloaded that video a couple days ago but hadn't gotten a chance to watch it until just now. It does have some excellent tips for PVP basics.
