OK.. straight up.. got thrown into the fire tonight.. "We need another Architect!"
Which is what I wanted to do from the beginning - so of course I stepped up.. Revenant had a good number of architects so it didn't make much sense for me to do it there.. so of course I took the opportunity to do it with AT.
I'd never trained a profession before.. didn't know anything about it, I was previously on track for gem cutting but hadn't gotten that far. So PEER PRESSURE!
Thanks to everyone for seeing me through it my first day in Poitan and stumbling through the building process with me. I think we lost a little up front silver buying the materials from the architect vendor, but I put all that back in the bank for Saiko to take advantage of.
Meanwhile.. it's expensive to build that wall.. contribute! We'll get 'er dun.

It used to cost 2G for every building plan, and you'd have to hand one in to complete the quest and make another for the building itself.

It's still 2G and you have to hand it in to complete the quest, but you don't have to hand it in before you start building.

Every Tier 1 building costs 1.01G, Tier 2 costs 1.53G per building and Tier 3 costs 2.49G per building. Everything you hand in should be returned to you now as well since a couple patches ago. Although I have not tested it, I'm sure it applies to Architecture as well (it does for Alchemy).
