Re: Age of Conan?
Well you either hate it or love it. I love it. Unique everything in an mmo that i've been waiting to see in a long time.
Combat is like nothing you've ever played. It's active and you have to actively make things work. Shadows actually hide you and make it easier to sneak around.
Really can't do it justice just saying it. Check out the website and try out the buddy trial if someone is kind enough to give you one.

Re: Age of Conan?
Welcome TD! I'll echo Vulcan here. I'm having a great time playing and as bugs get fixed and content is added the game only gets better. I plan on playing for the long term. Changes to the PVP and new content is almost upon us.
I'd add that the game is not WOW (nor WAR) and it's not an MMO that you can play on auto pilot. The veterans here can enlighten you on the differences. In all fairness, the game has had some issues (it's like other MMO's in many ways) but attempts are made on a weekly bases to fix those problems and make the game better. I believe I'm getting a return on my $15 a month. The game fits my play style and my setting in a fantasy MMO.
I've run out of buddy keys but if your serious than I'm sure someone can get you set up.|TG-9th| TheFatKidDeath

Re: Age of Conan?
Sure man i would be willing to try it out if there is a Trial or anything. What time's do you guys usually play at? I'm in EST. I am no small fan of MMO's i have played/Beta Tested most of them lol. I have been playing MMO's since Everquest came out back in the day, so i can hang lol.
P.S. What server do you guys play on if any? What Race are you? Is there a TG guild in AoC or is it every man for himself? And she was fat...don't be fat

I don't have a trial key left sorry man. We play on Cimmeria. There is a guild yes.

Re: Age of Conan?
I've got a few left.. msg me with your e-mail and I'll have it sent to you. Understand though that there is a $3 fee from Funcom for downloading the giant client.

XBox360 GamerTag: P8riotOne (but it might also be my son playing - he can game with TG tho!)

Re: Age of Conan?
That $3 fee gives you like an extra week of playtime though as opposed to just a week with the trial and a boxed copy.
TDS, we're on Cimmeria server and most of our current playerbase belongs to the TG-guild "Ars Tactika." Sit in teamspeak in the AoC channel a while and someone will throw you an invite.

Re: Age of Conan?
Yup i must agree, iv played everything from Diablo, WoW, Star Wars, Anarchy Online, and i must say AoC is far the most best MMO i have played. It is everything i wanted to see and play in an MMO and im sure its only going to get better from the news and updates i have read so far.

Re: Age of Conan?
Fighting is more fun than on any other MMO I've played. Nothing like click and go make yourself some coffee and come back to pick up the loot and click again.
There's still quite many bugs there, they have doing good job on the last month fixing them and they have reduced my crashes by 99% (I havent crashed yet atleast)|TG| Kebab-Kastike reporting for duty. | Why? Tubes! The internet is tubes!
