This isn't a 'merger' persay, as I would doubt that we find any of us in guild management positions - more like us joining them and taking it from there.

Also, will the guild be known as the Guardians or the Keepers? Sort of confused on that point as there are two different forums.

Yes the Guardians basically changed their name to the keepers since the leader was removed from the guardians community. It's a long story and I'm sure airic will tell you if you'd like to know more but it's also posted on the AoC forums.
He's trying to get back though.

The Keepers seem to be a nice bunch.. the ones I've had a chance to speak with, at least. They tend to be on either a few hours earlier or later than my cst evening time, though.

According to a message I got from the leader, Airic, the new forums are designed for their new Star Wars: The Old Republic guild. While the Keepers are keeping the name in aoc, it's no longer an official guild. They "have no problem if [we] wish to continue wearing the tag, but [Airic] told people that they deserve a more active guild, and this is not what the Keepers were/are at the moment."
