Is simply stunning.. just.. WOW.
DX10 is now live in AOC if you haven't heard.. it is still 'test' but.. WOW!
If you try it.. keep in mind it'll be super low framerates at first.. but it'll increase to what you had before or higher as the textures cache..
Just WOW.

it came with the last patch. Make sure to update to the latest directx, some guys had some trouble that updating fixed. A new version was released about a week ago.

It is on the live server. From what I understand it is fairly stable gameplay wise but they are trying to get more data to further optimize it. In other words a card that should be able to handle the dx10 can just barely handle it right now and they hope to increase the fps. But yea, it is on the live servers as a test option.
I've tried it with my 8800gts 512mb and I get some low framerates, but it looks really nice.

You are totally telling the truth. I tried it and it isn't working that well. My card should be able to handle it but it can't well yet. I hope they get it fixed soon. Originally Posted by machowner
