What is cultural armor?

"Dress Up". Gear specifically designed with the look and feel of your native culture. May carry some PvE stats of similar level gear but not any particular bonuses that I am aware of. It is new in the game and not prolifically used atm.

Things are going to get shuffled again real soon with 1.05 due imminently. Best PvP gear? well, level 5 PvP gear.. But it is best not to delve in to the pros and cons of what is hot and what is not when it could potentially all change next Wednesday.

No, See above - at least not yet.

What is raid gear? Is it just items that only drop during raids or is it gear with certain bonuses that are helpful PvE vs large groups?

Exactly - on both counts, it drops from raid bosses and is best in a PvP environment.

How do invuns, buffs, ect really effect you or the game. ie + 2 wisdom gives you X damage added to spells? or X chance to hit?

All that I am quite certain of is that in the current method of calculating stats and effects, and that is going to change in 1.05.. hopefully it'll make more sense to you and me both

What is the deal with gear invuns not working PvP? is that true?

Not sure about this but I believe currently if it is PvE gear then no.. you are at a disadvantage to someone with PvP gear. I would also add to that, any Battlekeep bonuses you opponent may have will ultimately nullify any invulns anyway, starting with a T1 BK.. at T3 things get uber. For example the guild I was with before always had trouble holding on to a BK, and if they held one, it was T1 or T2.. unfortunately, because of who the guild was I'd get chopped on every chance anyone got and half the time.. I was done for. Now, with OSD holding T3 BK Oakenhome quite regularly.. I get ambushed by a player 5 lvls above me.. they are a challenge, but usually toast (HoX pun) in the end.

A lot of that is gleaned from experience and may be a little off, about the time I started diving in to it, 1.05 TL notes were up with a lot of adjustments.. so we'll see, I hope it answered *something* for you.
