Waiting for 1.05

I've been AFK for the last month or two waiting for the new patch. Given everything I'm reading about the new patch it seems like it will give us a new game experience. In a way I don't want to get used to the current game and then make the switch. Anyone else waiting to jump back in? I'm hoping we are only a few weeks away from the patch as I'm anxious to get back playing!

We've noticed!

I know our guild is highly active now, everybody is just going to roll with whatever happens in patch 5. In the meantime OSD is raiding a minimum of 3 nights a week and defending or attacking a Battlekeep 1 or 2 nights a week.

I'm not sure about the 'new game experience'. Messing around with TL things are just plain working better and some things that were nerfed until they could be corrected are fixed.

Where Patch 5 seemed immanent - it now seems off a ways, but it is so far to tell right now.

We at the 21st have the attention span of a 5 year old it seems. 8 months break led into almost non-stop play for about 8 weeks, which then led to us playing other games and AoC not at all. I was hoping 1.5 would be out before the end of May as when I reached 80 the content was pretty much the same every time I logged in. I really enjoyed raiding for a few weeks, but after doing most of the raids at least once I realized it's the same every time, at least for my PoM. PvP was an excercise in futility for a Priest, at least for mine as I had trouble moving and casting spells together = me dead most of the time.

I for one will be watching for reviews of 1.5 once it finally hits and may re-subscribe at that point and give it a whirl one more time. Have fun guys.

Silirrions Latest info indicates some major decisions will be made about patch 5 this week. So, hopefully we will know something soon.

1.05 is official for release tomorrow!

Nice! Not only the game play changes but the new Tarantia area is what I've been waiting on.
