I'll say yes! Given the ability to build, maintain and defend player built cities I'd think this would be an MMO that would play well at TG.

As you can see from my posts I'm somewhat excited about this game. I've been waiting for more of a mature and gritty MMO so I have high expections for AOC.

Heh, I remember similar plans to have a TG owned space station in Eve Online . From some of the designer interviews it seems apparent that getting control of a city will be very, very difficult and maintaining control even moreso. I doubt we will have the player resources to even attempt this. Awesome if we could, though!

Could be - I'll run that city if I have too! I guess we will see soon what they have implemented and how easy or difficult it will be to run. Hopefully this will be reveled at E3.

cant hurt to try. If we have a desent base of TG'ers that are going to play we could get coordinated before hand.

So how much must you pay per month? 20? I will easily cancel one of my WoW accounts for this.

Oh and if we banded together in a guild,it would be cool to make a PvE castle and a Battlekeep too :P

I never cared for PvP in MMOs.

Also the U.S version censors out any "sex" right? I think this is good because A: If you want porn go to a porn website and B: There will be kids getting a hold of this game.

From what I've read, I believe the monthly subscription will be in line with other MMO's in the $15-$20 range.

Hopefully, the implementation of player built cities will be done correctly. I believe it's been attempted in other MMO's and can be a tough aspect to get right so my fingers are crossed.

The game will be "M" rated, the first MMO with such a rating, or one of the first. There is no "sex" in the game (apart from maybe a bare breast) as the "M" rating is mostly for violence.

Personally, I've never been really interested in most MMO's due to the "high" fantasy storyline, WOW for example. It's a great game from what I've seen but not really my taste.

I've been waiting for a grittier, darker game world to explore, if you've read any of Howard's novels it's a brutal place. From what I've seen so far, the devs of AOC are sticking close to the author's vision.

Apart from the setting, the involvement of the player in the game has peaked my interest. The game is all about combat and unlike most MMO's where auto-attack is the main form of combat. AOC will be more like a first person combat system where you control your characters combat movement.

Yes this game is like taking all of those MMOs:WoW,Knights Online, etc. And taking Oblivion, and then adding them all togther, making the best MMO that will be released. So far..

    New update: Conqueror!

    http://community.ageofconan.com/wsp/...&table=CONTENT

This could be my first character choice - or the Barbarian quite possibly. Conqueror class gets more combo moves while single or dual wielding weapons. Though they can't carry shields but do have auras that can help a party.
