• Deathwisper(PST/HST)
• Bloodspire (recommended Oceanic)
• Doomsayer(Casual Server play times don’t matter)

Edit: Bolded important part above. All the servers are on the East coast. No official timezones have been announced by FC. The only thing they distinquished was PvP/PvE and whether a server was recommended for Oceanic players.

Thanks for getting this poll up fldash as I was sometime today. My choices were based on the CST time zone - good balance between EST and PST. I'm in the PST time zone.

It is an official server list, however the timezone tags are from users. The only thing official on the list are the names, whether they are PvP/PvE, and whether they are recommended for Oceanic players.

Okay, you should change the opening post to reflect that... or else people will be confused. I (and you) luckily followed that AoC forum thread and read between the lines, but other people havent.

Personally, IMO it's a huge mistake putting arbitrary time zone tags on servers that are all in the same location. It's misleading and defeats the purpose. The purpose of having all the servers in the same location (but with similar performance) is largely to cut down on server overload on the Central Timezone servers.

CST servers are ALWAYS overloaded at release, because all large guilds want to be in the center of the US to provide for their members. I'd go as far to say it's even worse than the 1st server in the list.

Their goal was honorable, but ultimately futile. They'd have been better off leaving it alone.

And now that Omm was "labeled" a CST server and it seems to be a pretty popular choice, I'm not so sure it's best to go there now. But whatever... we'll see in 24 hrs.

I voted for Omm because it was the first that was mentioned yesterday when we started chatting about it. I'm definitely not tied to it, though. I'm actually kinda partial to Zug, because when you put two Zugs together...
