thats what I was told when I called EBgames today, and they said thats as per email from developer themselves. Even though release date is 20th.

Anyone else heard this from where you pre ordered?

I actually got my Collectors Edition on Friday from GameStop. They had tons of regular editions behind the counter. Perhaps try GS?

I also called local besbuy, they will get the game on 21st the earliest .

I'll visit the ebgames store I pre ordered on the 20th, since it did not make sence to me either, official release date on 20th, they already have the game.

I have called Best buy 4 times since I pre-ordered the game (May 13th) looking for an early access key to be sent to my email. The first time I called was the 17th, and was told the key should be sent to me within 24-48 hours. Second time I call, it has been 24 hours, still no key, so it is the 18th, she checks my case status that was sent to promotions, no activity. So, I call back on the 19th about 11pm and ask the representative on the line about the Age of Conan early access key. She proceeds to tell me the key doesn't come out until the game is released....so I tell her, ok, that makes no sense because it is called an EARLY ACCESS KEY, and I ask her to put me through to a supervisor, because she obviously had no clue about Age of Conan or video games in general. Supervisor tells me that the promotions department should contact me tomorrow (20th) about the early access key, and that I should probably tell them that they owe me a ten dollar credit. So, it is now the 20th and I have not heard anything from Best Buy. The only reason I ordered from Best Buy was because I had a gift card, but I really wish I could just smash their faces in.

Seeing this trend, I probably won't get Age of Conan delivered to me for another 50 weeks.

I am really jealous that some of you are lucky enough to have a gamestop near-by.

Got it yesterday, at ebgames and played it yesterday.

The sales clerk I talked to originally did not know what he was talking about obviously :P

Meh, it came out the 22nd for BestBuy and Future Shop (although the website says the 20th). I picked up the Collectors Edition today
