What Mount will you be riding?

Pre-ordered the Mammoth. Mammoth may be a bit slow moving and turning but I'll take damage inflicted over speed. Mounts and the mounted combat is one of the things I'm really looking forward too. They did such a nice job with the animations, especially the mount and dis-mount of your character and the attacking movement of the Mounts. I hemmed and hawed over which mount as the Rhino looks cool as well. Horse I figured I could get in game any ways as they stated that the Mammoth and Rhino are specific to pre-orders. Hopefully it will stay that way. I'd like to have somewhat of a unique Mount.

Although I voted for Zoopy (for obvious reasons) I think I'd probably go for a horse...running away and getting around a huge landscape is far more useful (IMHO) than being able to watch a mammoth beneath you fall apart as you try to escape from a gang of dark templars...or cursing your mammoth as the rest of your group speeds past on their horses, while you feel like you'd probably be quicker walking...

A mammoth was fun in Dynasty Warriors, I'm not sure it will work so well here.

I have the mammoth from the pre-order. First chance I get, though, I'll be buying a horse.

For my Aquilonian I'll use the mammoth for close combat, the horse for getting around. For grouped formation calvalry attacks, the horse always... unless we use multiple waves. For now though, until I get to lvl 40 I'm riding Zoopy.

For the Stygian I'm using the camel... assuming I play him.

Although I do want a camel, devs said they would have them, and the FAQ on official OAC site did say camels would be mounts.

Something tells me they, the camels, did not make the launch.

I'm 46 as of last night, so I've had my mammoth pre-order mount for a while now. It's useless for traveling though; it moves no faster than a player's jog (normal) speed and is hard as hell to turn.

I'd like to get a horse, but it's 1g for the training and 2g for the cheapest horse. I'm up to like 85 silver, heh. I don't see myself getting a horse until after I hit 70 or 80, unless I take some time out to do dedicated farming.

I'm more interested in looking cool than getting there quickly
