For those of you at level 40 or above, the four daily villas quests (they actually reset every 6 hours) can be a productive "grinding" spot for you. My experience is that a FULL CLEAR of each villa combined with the quest reward will give you 11%-14% of a level PER VILLA. Clearing all four will get you from 1/3 to 1/2 half a level. You're also getting decent money returns from looting and quest rewards.
This experience can be a particularly productive grind for you when you have finished quests in one area but don't want to move "up" all at once (e.g. transition from Eiglophian Mtns ->Thunder River/Atzel's Approach).
While this can be "boring", it's also an alternative worth considering to fill in or supplement the normal questing we do for leveling. It's also a good spot (same level mobs, no gankers) to test out alternative feat builds or attack sequences to find what works for you.

Yes, great area for XP. Another benefit is that there are no respawns so if you die (a short distance for the respawn point) you don't have to fight your way back. Also, the XP on the quests are substantial. Just make sure your level appropriate or it can be difficult.
Yah I find the noble districts a pretty pleasant change of pace on the solo end.
For straight up leveling prowess though there's little better than grouping with an 80 and grinding demons in Poitain for loot and gold. Each piece of loot if sold is work 30C+, not including the gold you get from the bags. And yes, they drop epix and rares. As for the xp, you get at least 1700xp per kill (usually the xp is above 2000; depends on the group) - and the spawns are numerous and very quick. If you get into a good rhythm you can level (even at lvl 60+) in about 45 mins. to 1 hr. The caveat is you must be lvl 60+ in order to group with an 80.
Beep, I know you were looking for gear last night on the trader... but, grinding those demons is a great way to find good gear. It's why Imperium fights us over the spawn rights.
It really is a 'grind' but if you can kill ALL of the mobs in all 4 instances I have gotten a full level of experience at 50. The hand in for the quests aren't great for experience but the mobs adjust to your level so they are pretty good for it. That's compared to something like the cannibal cave which is a quick respawn and doesn't level adjust.
Villas i thought were pretty fun. shortcuts to use if you have the skills and a great test of your skill if you snag 4 of those guys. Roamers have huge paths and stop and sit as well. Pretty challenging in there.
Just another FYI. Clearing a zone like "Oasis of Zaara" netted me about 1/2 level at lvl 63, with a full group and a lvl 68 in the grp (sometimes we were apprenticed as well).
An experienced group could go through here in 1.5 hrs. max (probably 1 hr.) and grab that 1/2 level easy. This is another reason why I push for doing these every other day.
I am going to write a guide on how to do all 4 quests in 30-45 minutes which at 77 netted me 700,000xp (just about 27% of a level) in under an hour from arriving in the district to logging. I would avoid using it as a grind spot though because the aggro can be buggy and they will always only be your lvl, you really want to be killing stuff a few lvls above you.
Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...

It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
