    Re: Circle 3 Crafting Supplies

Circle 3 Crafting Group (12/15 in our group, yes there is still room)
    TG Name - In-Game Name - Profession

Hopefully this list will get us going.

Quade - Varcan (Cleric) - Weaponsmithing
Jakaleel - Jakaleel (Spiritmaster) - Armorsmithing
Lokka - Aariss (Templar) - Cooking
Avs - Avs (Sorcerer) - Tailoring
Zaeith - Zaeith (Gladiator) - Hand Crafting
Avs - Avs (Sorcerer) - Alchemy (Temporary) <---- Any volunteers?

    Buriu - Buriu - Sorcerer
    Zaboo - Zaboo - Ranger
    Miakka - Miakka - Spiritmaster
    DaBrit - Macdole - Sorcerer
    DaViking - Baine - Cleric
    eGoatBoy - Caprinae - Priest
    Skinnee - Skinnee - Cleric

Note: Crafting is expensive since you have to buy a lot of materials to level up. If you don't have many materials to send or feeling altruistic, send Kinah to the crafters.

    Re: Circle 3 Crafting Supplies

I could take over alchemy if need be. I already have it up to lvl30. Mainly because of lack of money (i had to bum some money just to get my new skills at 22) and lesser elemental stones.

    Edit: I withdraw my offer.

I currently need Fess Fiber and Thick Rawhides (Eltnen) or gold (like donations of 1k) as it costs everyone roughly 6k per 10 skill levels doing workorders not including making actual stuff afterwards.

Ok, for now, I am also C3's alchemist. I have alchemy at 80 now, so please send me your stuff. I should be cranking pots out in a week or so for the circle.

Did Buriu ever give anyone mats? I sent him around 250 materials needed for Alchemy. I don't know if they are gone or what. This makes me sad

    Re: Circle 3 Crafting Supplies

Currently I am doing both Tailoring and Alchemy (see above thread posts). Obviously this is a major burden in doing two crafts at the same time. Originally I was only tailoring. That being said, Ive received more alchemy stuff than tailoring, which isnt saying much since I just temporarily taken over alchemy so that at least we can send the material somewhere (I've only received tailoring material from two people, one who doesn't even wear leather or cloth).

My tailoring is at 150, and my alchemy is around 99 currently. Technically I'll have no problem doing both as long as the material actually gets to me. Then its just a matter of sending the right potions to the people who need/ask/want it.

That being said, I'm pretty sure the original point of the crafting circles was to have designated crafters so that material is centralized and sent to specific people. Leveling up your crafting skill is fine (if you aren't an official crafter of course), but keeping materials to yourself technically defeats the purpose of distribution process in theory. This also means those who are official crafters need to actually play and craft, and ramp up the production so they can provide the goods which takes time.

If you think you got what it takes to actually be able to do this (see Ferris' post), then I'm all for someone taking alchemy so I can focus just on Tailoring. Same goes for any other crafter who is finding they don't have enough time to dedicate since this is technically not for role for the casual player to assume.

And I'd like to add I'm not complaining, but I think we can all do a better job in sending our raw materials that we do not use/need to those who are dedicating their time to crafting for the circle. Feel free to speak your mind if I sound like this is too serious ****ing business haha.

Again this is what our current circle looks like:

Circle 3 Crafting Group (12/15 in our group, yes there is still room)
    TG Name - In-Game Name - Profession

Hopefully this list will get us going.

Quade - Varcan (Cleric) - Weaponsmithing
Jakaleel - Jakaleel (Spiritmaster) - Armorsmithing
Lokka - Aariss (Templar) - Cooking
Avs - Avs (Sorcerer) - Tailoring
Zaeith - Zaeith (Gladiator) - Hand Crafting
    Avs - Avs (Sorcerer) - Alchemy (Temporary/Perm)

Buriu - Buriu - Sorcerer (Previously Alchemy)
    Zaboo - Zaboo - Ranger
    Miakka - Miakka - Spiritmaster
    DaBrit - Macdole - Sorcerer
    DaViking - Baine - Cleric
    eGoatBoy - Caprinae - Priest
    Skinnee - Skinnee - Cleric

Also, leveling the professions takes money to do it fast (and efficiently) since you have to buy material and craft with it. Typically it takes 10k per 10 skill points, so sending Kinah helps as well as its only fair. The biggest problem about circles and supply/demand in general is that there is a lack of trust. Will I get results if I send X materials? Unfortunately you just have to do it and wait and see. Or ask for stuff, be vocal and talk to those in your circle. I already sent stuff out but only one person responded, which gives me the feeling either you guys don't know or don't care. I really don't feel like this is something we need to manage or talk about but if that's what it takes then we're going to need to change how participation works. (And yes, I realize that no I havent not sent any tailoring gear out, but then am I expected to check each person's gear online, or what about waiting for them to hit X level, and how do we gear each other if we don't have the materials?).

One more note: If you send your materials you gather (yes not everyone has cube level 4, or 63 slots in their backpack, or large banks), you can empty out your bank and put stuff that you actually need to save (see coins, high grade crafting materials, crap you are trying to sell, other items).

I am at 62 at the moment and will be working on it some more later. Currently leveling player. I will get it higher with workorder/stuff people send... I've been sending things around to people.
