Why are we doing instances with non-legion member when members need them?
Why are we going to the abyss with non-legion member IE members not welcome due to level?
Are we segregated where the 30+ can't be seen in the Abyss with us lowly ones?
If you just want to get your kills on and leave the rest of us fine, just say so. Will not break my heart in any way, shape or form.
I just find it odd that on my few days off when I want to go kill Asmos, our 30+ members are either busy grinding or in a Non-Member group.
I was on for 9 hours today (with out PvP leader ) I tried several times to get an Abyss party going, even if it was a couple of people. I recieved two things... jack and ****.
If the "Official PvP Party" only consists of 30+, then just let me know so I can stop wasting my time trying to get a group up for the Abyss.

Well, actually, it's already been concerning to me..
Besides the one time that I got to team with a few folks at my level (only once I turned lvl 20, at that), I have not gotten a chance to team with anyone in the Legion. And admittedly, it's a bit hurtful to see Legion announcement only offering assistance for those who are able to access the Abyss.
I'm concerned that, even once I get to lvl 25, it'll be too late, and most others will be so far ahead that they still won't be there to team with me, or others my level.
I recently saw on this forum a thread offering a run to Asmodae for lvl 20 and above; that happened of the 25th. Did I miss the the ingame announcement, or was it announced there? Will there be more runs like this, and if so, how soon?
It's great that we're there for one another when it comes to all the crafting, but I know from experience that this is not all that a Guild, or this Legion, should be for one another.

Ive noticed that the game has separated is into several groups:
1. Low levels (below 20)
2. The people around 20-25 (this is 3 subgroups)
3. The people from 25-30
Basically we have several power gamer/friends, and I see it also impacting the potential of the crafting circles.
Another thing is that exp gain is optimized for solo play unless you are slow at killing things. In that sense it makes more sense to bring people to a 5 man outdoor instance (See area in Veraton) and the mines area in Eltnen. About EXP gains from solo vs grouping found in here: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/aion-ge...ml#post1366405
The game is flowing the way it naturally should, since most people come in alone; who knows how high a level a char will be before they finally find a Legion home.
However, TacticalGamer Legion needs its own team structure for everyone in the Legion, all levels, I believe. What can be done?

Well, I havent been around the last few days to notice whats going on, but it doesnt sound friendly, especially if Rei and Kikka are miffed about it (I'm on a 4 day stretch at work, making up for my week off as I type this). Last time I actually got any quality play time on my glad (who is still level 28), rei had just hit 25, and the next closest people were 24. I assume theres quite a few more people who are 25-30+ by now. But it sounds to me like people just need to pull their collective heads out of their butts.
The point of being in the legion is so we can work together and help each other advance. If you cant see fit to do this, perhaps its time for some self-evaluation.
Heres some basic things that will help you:
-Know the level of the instance which you're gathering people for. The Training Grounds in the abyss is available at level 25, but is basically useless to people 28+. So if you're going to try to get a group together, look at the people in the legion FIRST who might need it and ask them to come along.
-If we're forming pvp groups, level is irrelevant. Grab anyone from the legion that is up to par for your area (meaning that if you're in the abyss, anyone 25+ since nobody below 25 can even get there) and go.
If I get wind that people are discriminating by level for things like pvp, I'll have words with people. But keep in mind that the burden is on you to know what you can and cant do. For example, dont try and get in a pvp group for the abyss if you're level 22 and dont try and get in a group for Eracus Temple in Eltinen unless you're at least 28.
Do to the way Aion distributed XP it is not helpful for a High level character to quest with a lower level character or a low level to grind with a high level character. So for everyones individual needs I highly recommend utilizing the Looking for group Channel for a global chat feature.
LFG = looking for group
LFM = lookinf for member
DPS = Assassin, Sorc, Ranger,
Tank = Temp or Glad
CC = Sorc
Healer = Cleric or maybe chanter
Standard syntax (text format) is to type the following in the LFG channel
GROUP LFG: Assassin LFG Tursun Garrsion
or
GROUP LFG: LFM Sorcerer Abyss training ground
or
GROUP LFG: Ranger LFG grinding
Typing these in should net you invites or whispers for invites. If it does not. Which happens alot you can use the 'v' button (default) to bring up a search menu. Lets take my 2nd example which has happened twice in 3 trips to the abyss training ground. I spammed the LFG channel and got nothing in return. Some members left b/c the wait was to long but it all eventually worked out.
so using the v key you can search by class/region and level range.
So I was:
GROUP LFG: LFM Sorcerer Abyss training ground
but no one was answering so I hit v and searched for all sorcerers level 26-28. After doing the search a large list came up and it tells you who is in a group and who is solo. For every solo sorc i whipsered the following message (you can whisper right from the search window)
/whisper <name>: Want to do the Abyss training ground?
I will hit every solo sorc until i get a yes. then the group was ready to go!
I guess I didn't quite understand the Legion message. So it's not just a fun thing for Legion members to do together but instead a chance for a few ppl in a specific level range to get optimum exp after they find ppl outside Legion who are at the same level?
Most of us have been playing mmorpg's long enough that we don't need tips on how to form or join a group and I think it's insulting to respond to this post that way. The point of the post was the nightly event was posted as anyone 25+ can join. If that's not the case then take it down and set up a static team to do it if you care more about exp than cohesion.
Come on really. I will log on now and take the message down. The message is about an instance that is doable every 18 hours. So dumb me I thought well if it can be done every night we should make the legion aware and set a time so all members over 25+ (only up to six per instance) could coordinate together. My mistake was labling it a Legion Event.
I know that I wasn't speaking directly from the original topic, but I need to ask; is this truly a 25+ Legion only or what? Cause I, as well as many other folks new to the game and interested in this particular Legion would like to have known that from the beginning.

ok well the purpose of any legion is endgame content but lets take a minute here. No one in this game is never going to reach 25 unless you stop playing. I will apologies for NCsoft making the PvP abyss Level 25 or above, In the abyss there are fortresses, aritfacts, Instances that are not available to players under 25. What focus would you all like to see under level 25? Why do people over 25 have to stop playing or grouping up. As the legion leader I am over level 25 so naturally I am coordinating some of these over 25 event. I guess my real question is what do you guys want?
Heyo everyone, first off I'm deeply sorry if I've made any of you feel excluded.
One reason why I haven't been doing instances with the rest of you (skol excluded) is because I can't. There are level caps on all of them. At no point during this entire game have I been able to group with anyone but skol and pugs to do an instance. I did help the Nana/Hat/Epy/David group do the krall elites in vert. They got 6xp (i got none) per kill and the mobs dropped no loot except quest items. If you want my help with anything all you have to do is ask and I am more than willing, though it comes with a fairly high price thanks to game mechanics.
It's a bit unfair to be cross with the 30+ people because we group with others. There are only two of us and we can't do everything by ourselves. This also means that we need to work around a schedule where we can find decent random players to group up with...so we are pressured to NOT pvp during prime hours...so we can get a decent group and progress. If we are out fighting, or you want us to come with you, PLEASE don't hesitate to ask.
Side Note: I know I haven't had a chance to contribute to everyone gaming experience as much as I'd like. I've been trying hard to be as supportive as possible with mats. and money to help everyone out...the level disparity will lessen as it becomes harder to get all that xp. This situation is temporary...
Honestly, I don't even remember what was happening that day. I have never blown any TG members off. We have already had a full group PvPing the Abyss one day. Anyway, Tuesday, Guardian and I were doing the Fire Temple instance (level 31+) almost all day or night, I don't even remember. Guardian nor I would exclude anyone from PvPing based on level, I would love to get some groups together in the Abyss, however, not everyone is level 25 yet. Yes, I am grinding hard while I have the time to put in. There's a world of difference being in the 30s and the 20s at the moment. Even with 10% of the server population around my level, I still have to wait for mobs to spawn, etc.
I think the point however is that we should do the following:
Help people with quests if they need/ask for it
Help each other level if it makes sense (I'm talking about grouping more and grinding together since we all know by now a lot of grinding is needed and helping others while killing stuff = more fun than boring solo play).
If you are too high level, craft stuff for the lower level people if possible. If you aren't a craft, provide stuff to your crafters so this can happen.
For the lower level players, send stuff to your crafters and or if you are also a crafter, ask for help!
Im sure there are a lot more and better ways to cooperate as well. Though, one time I did ask someone if they wanted to grind together and got rejected (sniff, we were same level too), and I'm a sorc.
Someone was asking today about killing Krall (Krull, kruller, hell, whatever). I had to go make dinner, but even so, the thought of running there and joining up so the two of us could get pasted sounds a bit daunting. Perhaps we can start a thread for suggested group times for those that need specific quests (Like Krall) that require a group? I have no problem with 25+ folks playing in their sandbox, I will get there someday, and actually have been holding back a bit so i could get gathering, aether gathering and crafting at decent levels. But the lack of a way for lower level folks to get a group for group quests is a bit of a problem. I am glad to have been able to group Krall quests one evening, but we ought to have a way so others can as well.

I like this idea; perhaps a thread like this can spark up a good Legion system ingame as well. Thanks for this!
Neo (LordMeatwad), I apologize for saying anything upsetting; there's no intentions here to start conflict at all.
I really want to be a solid, confident member of this Legion, and I want to feel like I can offer my concerns without looking like I'm trying to start something negative. I truly would like to see improvement in this teaming issue, and I think the the recent suggestions are beginning to get the ball rolling toward a good result here.
At present, I'm level 23. Tonight's a great night for me (I believe) to group with folks; If anyone's gonna be in the "T" town next to the lvl 20 Fortress (I forget the name of the place next door to it, but it's go the fiery trees and bulls and such), I'd be delighted to team with them there. Or the fortress. or the desert where the "Kyouuu" birds and Gnarls are.
Also, if anyone below lvl 20 is on and needs help, let me know.
I should be ingame at least 6:30pm CST.

Bravo Microsoft, you have now surpassed EA in poor decisions and once and for all seized the crown for the worst 'Reveal' ever. That EA were standing there on the stage with you when you did it was...
