Open Beta
Ok, so the open beta isnt going to be some weekend thing (we hope) and since we all have to start from scratch, I figured I'd get a head count and see who is actually going to be playing. I heard lots of people on TS the last couple days saying "i'm not playing open beta" or "see you guys in a month for the release". Soloing my characters almost the whole time this weekend was cool and all (with the exception of the hour or so that me and nner had a party going at level 5-8ish), but I'd like to get in some groups and see if we cant manage to powerlevel ourselves. It'd certainly make questing easier and we could get in on some early pvp action.
So anyway, I'll be there for open beta, whenever it happens. How bout you guys?
Oh, and I expect to hear some news on the beta dates this week. Gamescom (europe's version of E3) is the 19th-23rd (2 days from now) and Aion has a huge booth at the convention, where I expect they'll be making announcements about various things, specifically open beta, whats in the 1.5 patch, etc.

I've been bouncing the idea back & forth... I think I'm gonna do it, though just to try out the Assasin Class and Sprit Master Class, like I mentioned about in the last closed beta. Are we gonna do the Asmodian thing as was suggested in the other thread?

I'm not. I plan on perfecting my gladiator path so that I can reach 20+ as quickly as possible when release opens. Took me less than 15 hours play time to reach 18 on my first go-round, so i figure that by release, i can drop that to 10 or so.

I might play, but I'm fairly new to MMOs, with a few hours on WoW as my only experience, but I'm willing to try. Won't be playing all that much except on weekends, but school happens.

I am for making some Asmos, I really do not want to run through the early level environment only to do it again in a month.
