I'd have to disagree. They had it happen yesterday and the servers didnt crash. They just locked down as they filled up!

One more day of open beta like conditions would be sad, but better now than later i suppose. They are a success from presales already, lets hope they manage the popularity well with some good technical response to the problems of massive floods of gamers.
