Well, there I was, happily running around the level 10 areas on my lunch hour, and I decide to harvest this clam.
Not paying attention the next thing I know, some GIGANTIC friggin crab obliterates my Sorcerer shield and then me in (I think, it happened so fast) 2 hits. A quick google search later and I find out that I have fallen victim to the infamous Crab Norris LMAO.
Actually, I think that's pretty cool that this game has some baddies that are extremely dangerous in the low level areas. It adds to the thrill of the game IMO. Anyone that played EQ can probably remember getting instakilled by Kizdean Gix or making the fatal error of killing wildlife within sight of Holly Windstalker
You very seldom see that anymore, and it's to the detriment of the genre I think.
His days are officially numbered, once I level up some more

The crab is one tough customer. If I am not mistaken, you need to be 30+ to have a chance at killing him (note = chance, not certain kill).

He's level 13 isn't he, so you could probably take him at about 22 or 23

I took him out at 20 with the aid of chain skills and a potion or two. Revenge for owning me in closed beta.
