resolution
i was wondering what res everyone is using?? i know that mine only shows 16 whatever by 12 whatever, but i know that you can input strings of code into the desktop icon to launch the game in a certain resolution.
i guess my question is what is that command or IS there a command like that?

Re: resolution
i read on the forums SetRes 1600x1200 works in game but as far as a command line, i'm not sure. My native res is 1600x900 and it's not working.

Re: resolution
you might be able to find some commands with in the files found here
http://udn.epicgames.com/Files/UT3/M...Source_1.5.rar
it will take a long time, you could also look in the game directory, which is probably much easier. i'll look into it more. it should be very similar to Bioshock, GoW, and UT3.That's like playing Russian roulette with a shotgun.

Re: resolution
There are a few different ways:
[1] You could modify the *.ini file in your user directory, or in the main program directory.
[2] You could create a shortcut to the game and put the setting after the *.exe in the target field ... which does not work.
[3] Steam might be able to pass the arguments ... nope.
[4] Enter the command in the console by pressing ~ or F12 and entering:
setres [value] (value is in form “640x480”)
The best option is to just use the settings in the game to change the resolution. That's like playing Russian roulette with a shotgun.

Re: resolution
It will not give you a wider FOV. It was purposefully programmed that way as they said it gives an advantage to people with widescreens. I don't see the point.

Re: resolution
1680x1050
16:9
Working with no issues at the moment.
Did go to Nvidia controls and tweaked a few of the AA settings.
