    AA3 Demo

I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but I really think the game was released a few months early. The maps are great, but why only 5 of them? It appears that the engine does not support time shifting like the Cry Engine 2 or the engine behind Call of Duty 4 (and 5). However, I can't imagine that the UE3 engine would not support such a feature. Any other opinions?

By the way, to explore the maps offline, enter the following command into the console (~ or F12) once the game has loaded:
"open <map name here>", without the quotes and replacing <map name here> with one of the following:
    Alley_day_cloudy.aa3, Bridge_night_clear.aa3, Impact_day_cloudy.aa3, Pipeline_dawn_clear.aa3, Ranch_day_fog.aa3

I guess Time Shifting wasn't the right word. The change in daylight. There is one mod I was playing on that changed the time of day as the map progressed. Overgrown at night was just amazing. Completely different.

Yep! Changing from day to night throughout the map is definitely the way to go. It maximizes the fun during each map by constantly changing the game play based on the current conditions. Now if we just had full weather effects...
