Actually got to play a couple of matches
The games seems like it would be really good. I'm still lost in it though, but my stats did update. Got the training done, all expert but for the obstacle course. I hope this game starts working for more of us.

Re: Actually got to play a couple of matches
You've got to sprint through the obstacle course to achieve expert.

Yeah, its pretty fun. Now all we need is a working TG server and we can get some good comms going =)

Re: Actually got to play a couple of matches
I've tried it bunch over the past couple of days, best I could is 1.14 or 1.16. I sprint through it, but I not really accustomed to keyset this games uses so I keep hitting the wrong buttons.

I got expert in the course today. You have to be very quick on the buttons to get up and down and sprint as much as possible.
My time was 1:03

Sprint through it, slide through that barbed wire, jump across the walkway, dont climb down the ladder, and you'll get a 1:00 or better.

bragging rights would be my guess. I don't think you get any new equipment from it

The [MIA] clan is pretty teamwork-oriented. I played a few rounds with them yesterday, and they tend to use VOIP more than most pubby servers.
He was told that he should not kill, and he did not kill, until he got into the Army. Then he was told to kill, and he killed.

Re: Actually got to play a couple of matches
I dont think physical training expert gets you anything more than the badge. But I think it becomes a requirement for secondary specialization later.
I haven't found any servers yet that focus on communication or teamwork. Most of the players I see are either green, or they are lone wolf hunter/killers. These guys will sprint to the optimal firing lines or ambush areas and lay waste to the enemy often racking up the most points for the team. The plus side is that they respond to medic calls. Everyone else usually inches their way around, either huddled in a group, or by themselves but behind the front lines usually. They are often flanked and picked off easily.
One time I tried testing my mic (I used optimal sound setting, the other hardware sound configurations make your mic sound very crackly) and other people on my team responded. Then we all started talking and started to win a lot on the bridge map. Game does have a lot of potential...once they fix freezing so people can actually get in a server, then they will need to fix the gameplay glitches and lag.

Re: Actually got to play a couple of matches
Did they change the bridge map at all? From what I remember it's usually just a snipefest.
I joined a random server and found a nice little group of voip users, but in our 3rd round the server hung and everyone froze except me. It was pretty odd, walking around and everyone else showing as connected but completely frozen in time. I couldn't use objects, run or change my weaps, but I could fire until I ran out of ammo. Kinda freaked me out.|TG-12th| Boot
