Map rotation issues.....

As everyone may know we have a bug that won't allow us to change a map without locking the server up. This is why the server has to stay on one map for now, however, they may be a fix right around the corner.

I was talking with a guy at a server hosting company yesterday and he said they have private forums that are talking with folks working on the AA3 servers. They should have a fix by next week for this issue and we should be able to having a map rotation set in the config file.

If not we should at least be able to type in admin commands to change the map at will.

I was playing on a server last nigh... this morning and it actually had a rotation going. Will PM you with info so you can contact them if you want to.
Hopefully they will pass on whatever voodoo they do.

Vulcan I already contacted these guys and they were just manually changing the maps which made it seem like it was happening automatically. There is a bug in the game that will not allow auto map change currently.

Aye I concluded that most likely whatever they were doing was going to be to much of a hassle and waiting for AA devs to fix it was the best option.

Our hosting server said they set us up to be able to manually change maps but Smachin said he couldn't get it to work today and the server crashed after a little while. I'll keep working on it until we get a fix and then will post here.

Vulcan I will keep you informed as to what changes need to happen in the config file on the official TG server when it's up and running.
