AA 3 and Teamspeak

I have searched and cannot come up with an answer. Has anyone found a fix for not being able to use teamspeak while in game?

I can use teamspeak and the in game voice fine together. What's your problem?
Also, What's your soundcard?

Is it that you can't run teamspeak while playing or can't talk while playing?

Same, mine runs fine with both

I haven't tried running it with TeamSpeak, but I know Ventrilo runs fine with AA3.

Teamspeak has been known to do this on vista. The fix is to run teamspeak as an administrator in vista.

I am. I can hear everything fine in T/S when in game, I just can not talk.

Are you talking about ts in the game or ts as the program outside of the game?

VOIP is in game, teamspeak is out of game.

The in game VOIP is Teamspeak 3.

The only fix i know for the application is run as admin.

I have no problem with in game voice. It is while in game I can not use teamspeak. The regular everyday TG teamspeak. And as I have said I am running as admin.

I tried to get some IRC support from the AA3 community but all I got was... dun Dun DUHNNN !!!!

Run it as an administrator.
I was like thanks.... So I kept searching around and came across this on the TS forums.

My OS is WinXP, Soundblaster Audigy 1, drivers 5.12.4.1196 from 11.08.2006 (as far as i can tell creative doesnt provide any newer drivers in the dl-section on their hp), Dx 9.0c 4.09.0000.0904

Any hints would be appreciated since voice activation is not an option for me.

Problem solved for me.
Unchecking "Disable Direct Input" did it for me. Maybe this helps for one or another of you guys as well. Good luck!

The jist of the post is to Uncheck "Disable Direct Input".
Now a suggestion of my own is to check under "Settings" under the options tab and check if Hardware GameVoice support is enabled. Just something to try.

I have to run TS in admin mode because I couldn't get it to work with ArmA so I don't any issues with any other games because of it.

EDIT: I have disable direct input unchecked so maybe that is why I'm not having issues

The "solution" from the hosting company for the temp server is to use Ventrillo but I wasn't having a problem until recently. I'm still in communication and expect a more favorable solution.
