Graphics error?
Ok, finally made it past that damn live jump. Now I'm trying to pass the recognition test. Should there be some sort of cursor when I'm answering questions? Having to frantically click around in the blind hope of hitting the answers I want is annoying, and even more so with only 15 seconds. Is an icon of a pencil too much to ask?
My graphics drivers are up to date btw.

Re: Graphics error?
You should have a cross hair. Just line it up with the letter you want and left click.

Re: Graphics error?
I'm not sure what the problem would be, but I believe I had a cursor when I took the tests.

Re: Graphics error?
Hmmm... ok thanks. I'll see if there's anything on the AA forum about graphics.
Edit : The forum search facility is disabled on the AA site. Hastapee and Vulcan have made some suggestions I'm going to try out...

Re: Graphics error?
Double check and make sure your card is supported.

Re: Graphics error?
I didn't think of that, but it turns out it IS supported. Everything else in the game runs fine. This is frustrating.

Re: Graphics error?
You could always head over to the official AA forums and see if anyone else has had that problem...

Re: Graphics error?
As I've already posted in this thread, the AA search facility is offline. There are 123 pages in the bugs section, 265 pages in the new players section, 974 pages in general support and 305 pages in PC support. I imagine those are the most likely places on their forum to check about this problem.

Re: Graphics error?
They know their search function is down so they're a little more forgiving with reposts these days. You can also use Google by appending "site:forum.americasarmy.com" to the end of your query. They used to have that listed in the note about the search function being down -- it's been down for months and months, if not a full year by now.
Also, the Tracker is pretty active.
The only thing I found in a brief Google search is that you're looking for a green dot and not a large crosshair of some sort.

Re: Graphics error?
Thanks Perry. I'll post a query there. In the mean time, will I be able to connect to the TG server if the map isn't an SF one?

Re: Graphics error?
This is just a problem on the SF AVWID training, right? You'll be able to play as long as it isn't an SF Exclusive map and there's only like 3 or 4 of those out of the 34 total maps - not sure if they're even in our rotation.
The normal SF maps have SF spots for people that are 15+ honor and have completed the training as well as "indigenous forces" spots for everyone else (and overflow from the qualified people).

About the maps, if I remeber right Apo took out the 15+ honor SF maps for now. Im sure he will add them back in as soon as everyone gets up above 15 honor.
