    TG and Anti-cheat work?

I been around here a long time but I have not post very often. Now that you guys have an AA sever I'll stop by more often.

With that side I just wanted to know what kind of AC work you guys do and if you guys need any help. I'm apart of 2 of the four major AC groups in AA with myself still being active in the other two from time to time. I have one group in mind that I would like to see you guys team up with to help keep the server clean. In my eyes they are the best all around group with the most up2date pb checks!!http://www.anticheatinc.com/forums/index.php

I would be glad to be the middle man if this if you so wish the help but all in all it is just an idea.

Let me know what you guys thing.

Apophis would be the guy to contact. If you have sometime drop by our server and make sure to jump on TS too. Nothing is better then good communication in this game.

AA has a few groups that run their own "blacklists" of players that have been caught cheating either through Punkbuster checks or through manual screenshot viewing.

Punkbuster can be / is setup to take screenshots of everyone on the server at various time intervals which makes it very tough for cheaters to hide. An admin has to go through and view the screenshots then submit them to the various groups that they are a part of if they suspect the person of cheating. Usually, to submit a cheater to a group you need to be "streaming" your punkbuster logs to them, and then you can download their master ban lists to use on your server.

I've never figured out what the specific differences are between the groups.. Airdale Ops, AASA, CheatBusters, and PunksBusted are some other groups.. FBI Clan has a meta-list of all the groups.

We currently use PunksBusted. We have been using them for quite some time for a variety of games. Their toolset is feature rich and incorporates hourly MBL updates, MD5 checks, and server-side toolkit updates. We also have PBSS enabled and those images are streamed to a remote server for easy/rapid viewing.

We also use this same system for all of our Battlefield 2 servers (and any other PunkBuster supported game server, for that matter). I looked into ACI at one point but just found PunksBusted to be more feature-rich with faster updates. But everyone has their own favorite I guess.

To get to the point though, yes. We are using active cheat detection and remediation on our AA server.

Sounds good to me I am also member of PsB and also ACI ... with ACI you do not have to stream to to be a part of to get their Cvar checks so it may be good to take a look at. But very glad to know you guys are with PsB which is still a great group. -ZaiYerS- is getting better with the updates on cvars but still lags behide a bit to Reaper on the cvars and bot detection as Reaper has updates almost other everyday. As for the features you are 100% right here their database is top of the line and very easy to use, beats ACI hands down. lol that is why I use both :-P

anyway thanks for the reply bud,

The difference between the groups is all point of veiw to what is banable in the gray areas as reduced fog ss and things such as that. Other thing is what the AC group has to offer via tools, game input, cvar & MD5 checks, guides, type people that take part, also a big thing in management and how they treat people.

I see you put in www.cheatbusters.org they are the newest group so I forgot them so that would make 5 AC groups. ACI is doing alot to help them get on their way to becoming a good grop also.

    Thanks,
