    Wink Defending an objective....

Even thou we had problems all night with the authentication server, we were able to get in a couple of rounds before I was quickly called out for a call (real world)...

I did like the way we, Tactical Gamer, played defense real well. We knew we couldn't get to the down chopper in time so we concentrated our efforts on defending the pilot.

When a game started we would each go our own way to cover a major enemy entrance approach... once the enemy was spotted they were called in, and a reactionary force was able to move to that location and plug the assault hole.

But then we stayed smart... after a few minutes of engagement out in the secondaries, we fell back to our last line of defenses protecting the objective.

It worked pretty well, the TG side winning the majority for the round win against a few highly skilled/high honor players...

It goes to show that teamwork, in most cases, will out play a high skill player that Rambo's it in game.

Great Job TG, and a special GJ for Turbo, who was the undisputed MVP of the games last night.

Conclusion: When defending an objective, have a secondary line where members go and report contacts and directions, have a reactionary force to plug those advances, then have a fall back line for defending the main objective.

Personal Note: In my job I have three specialties that I get called out for, (SWAT, K9, and DRE) so if I suddenly leave without a goodbye or explanation, know it's job related and not TG related.

    Re: Defending an objective....

When i get into the game i see everyone movng as a unit...we do the whole move and cover thing...we look around corners and check things...i see this more and more.....we do move as a military or tactical unit....and i see our tactics making up for out short comings in skills and numbers...
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

I see the same thing and it just looks so good. This is one game where real life tactics work and when we get more skilled at the game the tactics will really pay off.
