Burn a Copy
Has anyone burned a copy of America's to CD Rom? I want to burn a copy to send to a friend. The file is too large for 1 cd and burning it to dvd is not an option. I am curious as to what programs are available to burn the game onto more than 1 cd.

Re: Burn a Copy
you can zip the program....when you zip it make sure the limit size of it is less then that of a CD then it will make 2 or more zip files that you can burn....
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Re: Burn a Copy
Thanks for the reply. It appears that winzip does not like me. I have been looking for disc spanning software to achieve a working burn.

Re: Burn a Copy
Try 7-zip, a free zip/rar/etc program.

Re: Burn a Copy
Would the local Army recruiter's office have the latest version yet, if you're in the US? May have to put up with some harassment if you aren't interested in enlisting..

Can't you order them for free on the AA website?

I looked but couldn't find the link. Perhaps I am just retarded today. Yeah, like that is different than any other day

Re: Burn a Copy
I actually saw AA at Fry's for like 10 bucks, you might think that that is expensive, but you get an AA action figure with it!! (wish I had my digi camera when I went).

Re: Burn a Copy
Go to download.com and search "File Splitter." The one I use is about third down the list called Free File Splitter 1.0. You can check out the other ones, but some are trial versions with restrictions I think. Don't forget to put the splitter file on atleast one of the CDs, though, so they can reassemble it when they get it. It's only 1.32 MB.
