    Exclamation 12/4 debrief...

This is a reply in the other three page thread... so wanted to start a new thread for the debrief comments....

1st off...thanks for the great show out of many members... realize we have only been playing AA as a team for a little more then a month... most of us have only started playing AA since the 150 release...

the other team was good, damn good.. and deserve the kudos and that a boys they got... they also are a AA clan, which means unlike TG, they mostly play one game over and over, every night... were we, most of us but not all, in TG... play one game each different night or so.

    JMO!

The problem I saw, is that we were trying too hard... and not being flexable...

It's good to have a game plan, but as in real war... situations change, and when it did we didn't change with the situation...

Actually, I think in the near future, and realize this is JMO and I may be totally wrong, but we don't have detailed plans, we don't have mission walk throughs... we simply know the maps were going to play and play them alot before a match... then when the games start we have fun, and play like we do every night on our open server... with teamwork and communication, and leadership...

We played, excuses the expression, like a bunch of tight asses last night... everything cut and dry, everything detailed and mi-nute... lets remember the purpose of gaming next time.

"Improvise, adapt and overcome"... where the hell was Gunny last night! lol

The biggest problem was communication, Effective communication. I couldn't tell what the real plan was or who was doing what. I would suggest some sort of command line for scrim's because it's necessary if you want good organization.

Define your leaders and let them make a plan and assign people to duties. The rest just report and listen. It could even go as far as squad channels but i don't think that's necessary.

Sorry I couldn't join last night: got home too late to participate.

Judging from this thread, maybe we should get two squads together and lock the server one night for training.

I agree communication needs to get a lot better, I was overwelmed with all the info plus I didn't hear much because everyone was talking at the same time.

I think we may have to go over the map next time so when someone is tasked with going up the north stairs they know where it is and how to get their. I think we screwed around too much getting into position. I had a breach plan layed out but we never really got into position to use it correctly.

I think on defense we pushed out to far. When you defend A you dont have to push out onto the stairs because when they come up they are exposed. I think we lost too many guys to early because we were pushing up. The last game was a mess, when I said go C out the fire escape only three guys got their with me. I think a quick walk through would of been good for that.

GG everyone and thanks for showing up. We will have to try this again.

    Comm thoughts.

Also, if possible, I think it'd be good to practice (with comms) as a full-sized team against OpFor. The only hurdle would be finding the OpFor.....

Yep, sorry if I made you leave Vulcan. Strag went down and I said over TS "I'm moving to north staircase" then 10 seconds later your nade killed me. I guess somebody said something at the same time and they got merged together.

You tked me then left for the evening. I was feeling kind of guilty if I caused it.
