    Thumbs up WOW... what action...

Want to thank each and everyone of you that showed up for "Game Club Night" featuring America's Army...

Those rounds were some of the best I've had, very intense, very tactical, and very deadly (virtually of course, lol)...

We had a great turn out, and truly saw what Tactical Gamer is all about, (once we locked it and ditched the Rambo squad, lol)...

I took a bunch of screens, but not when the action was so thick that I couldn't afford to move my finger to the screenshot key, lol... I'll go through them tomorrow, resize them down a little and post them here... fantastic games folks... great job.

and if you still haven't downloaded the free America's Army game, or didn't like it because of the idiots on most servers... got to try a night with some of TG'ers best.

    Re: WOW... what action...

    Micro-AAR here.

Highlight IMO tonight... Hospital. Escort really came together in a way I've *never* seen before (I was VIP again... getting pretty comfortable with it actually). I've haven't seen such deliberate, precise, and effective use of bounding overwatch, move-to-contact, flank/rear security, communication, and mutually supportive fire and maneuver (I sound like I'm taking cues from a tactics manual, but this just all went down like it was a texbook excercise... uncanny). There was a lot of lead flying just to draw enemy fire, keep their heads down if spotted, and flanking for the kill. I can only assume that Assault was doing a serious job too, because we *had* to come together and perform that way just to counter it. Professionals on both sides.

A new high water mark in TG / AA gaming.

The highlight was Strag's 1 sec left kill of Trooper to win on Weapons Cache SE. Very good AA games all around. Hospital was probably the best. Had a ton of fun, will have to do this again.

You can tell Magnum's a cop when he's calling out enemies.. "Suspect ran in to the garage" "Suspect coming down the river"

    Heheh

Weapons Cache seemed to be an excellent warmup for all involved, and segued nicely into Hospital. As has been mentioned above, it was an outstanding map with an exceptional level of play. IMO though, the hurt was really laid down on Urban Assault, with each team decimating their opponents at times.

Hope we can do this again sometime. How about ome games Wednesday, and another big bash Sunday?

    Re: WOW... what action...

Ya the teams, for the most part, were well balanced... it was give and take most of the night, a couple of the map rounds came down to 4/4.

My biggest screwup was giving orders and yelling at people for not supporting or flanking someone I had pinned, only to find out I had my mic muted, I thought no one wanted to play with me anymore because of those 2 earlier team kills, lol

It's kinda funny, because we started early with just 1 on 1, then it was 2 on 2, then 11 members came in... I personally realized I suck when it's 1 on 1 or 2 on 2... (which shows I'm not a very good gamer)... but once we had 5 on 5 or so my gameplay level increased, (which shows I play better as part of a team, well except those 2 nasty team kills I had. lol)

    Re: WOW... what action...

As usual, I really enjoyed playing with you sallies last night. The gameplay was top-notch, and we had a great turnout. The Game Club is a fantastic idea.

Apologies for my TK of munchkin, and also some other guy who wasn't TG and would not report in. Even though I didn't know where he was 99% of the time, I should have tried harder to ID my target before firing on him.

That last-second kill of Trooper in Weapons Cache was pure luck. I just happened to run by his location while running to an objective, saw his gun barrel sticking out, and decided to plug him because the round was almost over. Fun stuff.

And yes, it was hilarious (but also cool) to hear Magnum calling out the location of "suspects."

Oh, it would not have been a true TG AA night w/o Trooper going to jail at least once... Thankfully, he pulled through

Ohhhhhh.. My trick worked! I go down those stairs from the warehouse area to the west wing entrance, and continue across the entrance like I'm going down the hall. Sometimes the door is open, sometimes not, but if I go that way I always make it look like I'm going down that hall. I bet Turbo saw me doing that
