Re: ArmyOps Tracker
When the server is passworded, Tracker cannot track the stats.. that would get rid of a lot of the stats.

Re: ArmyOps Tracker
I voted 'No' as a reflex, but then I realised that it might be a good way of tracking down a game when we're not playing on the TG server. Of course, one can use other tools, such as ServerSpy, but if we register as a group it will all be neatly gathered in one place.

Re: ArmyOps Tracker
EDIT - I admit to having not read what the full scope of AAO Tracker does. My quick overview paints it as just another point/stat tracker.
I voted an emphatic NO. Only reason is that TG has never been about individual scoring. It's about teamwork. AA is a game specifically intended to foster teamwork - collective effort, success, failure, and responsibility... the best principles of TG contained in one game. By adopting a stat tracker for *individual* ranking is utterly opposed to such a philosophy. The ranking of individuals replaces the team focus, and so AA becomes just another pissing contest... and AA at TG ceases to be a rare place for real, team based gaming.
I personally abhore any game with individual scoring. Sure, I like to track my performance, but I am thoroughly focused on how well I performed as part of a unit... and that the unit played well. Tracking my individual kills/deaths/ tk's etc says nothing about my ability to operate with a team. And the only thing I see in someone with an impressive k/d ratio is that they kill a lot and die less. But I have no idea if they actually cover a flank, either as ordered, or under their own initiative. There's no ranking for someone taking the boring job, never getting a kill, unloading 2 mags of 249 ammo and never hitting a thing... but they suppressed the hell out of a location, denying OPFOR from using it to their advantage, and thereby allowing their team mates to acheive the objective. *THAT* is the essence of teamwork, though it'll never be reflected in point ranking.
