Please Note!!!
with the new version of Americas Army v2.6...
1) You have to re-do all your customizations, settings and keys... which SUCK IMO I'm left handed, so I use alot of custom keys... how am I suppose to remember, lol...
2) Remember your log in name before updating... I couldn't remember what I changed it to once a became a TG member, and wanted there tag. lol...
3) when you search through the in game browser, it defaults to some "official US Army" servers... change that, at the bottom, to GameSpy to see our TG server.
That is all.

Re: Please Note!!!
Man I hate release day...
Authentication server is down, so don't panic if you can't log in... happens everytime they release a update... the servers are always iffy for the first day or two... but they should know that and release at the beginning of the week instead of Fri... when everyone wants to play for the weekend.Magnum

Re: Please Note!!!
Why doesn't a copy of your user.ini work anymore. You could do that about 4 versions ago, but now if you do it you get the punkbuster boot until you replace it with the current one. Well it did that to me on 2.4 and I didn't try it on the last two releases.

Re: Please Note!!!
Well PitA that it is I just saved a copy of user.ini from my 2.5, updated, redid my standard keybinds from inside the game config (using my old ini file to refresh my memory) then cut'n pasted my custom com binds over. Comparing the 2.5 and 2.6 user.ini's they are mostly identical but there are some changes (mostly relating to the new game browser features from what I remember seeing in the file).

Re: Please Note!!!
The old file is saved under the backup folder in the Americas Amry folder. I just copied my keybinds over and changed the rest manually.
