Is there another day?
Currently we have every Friday night for AA night, and once a month when AA is on the rotation for the Game Club, on a Sunday night...
Is there any other night that could have a few hours dedicated to AA?
The problem with AA, it's a great game... IMO one of the most realistic squad tactical shooters out there, and free!
but it's not a game you can just join on a whim and play, it has to be organized, otherwise you end up playing with cheats, rambo's, and honor hunters.
It's not like our GR or OFP server where you can join and play alone or with just 2 to 4 other members... you need a good 12 members, 6 on 6, to lock it and enjoy it and play like it was meant to be played... thats why AA isn't as popular as the others. AA (along with SWAT4) is my current and long running favorite, but I can't join the server now and play... I have to wait till theres more members ready to play... so any other night we can designate as AA night?Magnum

Right now im looking for a good game to play, GR is monday so im free wednesday, saturdays and thats about it. Just send me a PM when you wanna play

Not sure if I can squeeze another day in or not. I have a lot of stuff going on right now so my gaming time is getting shorter and shorter each day.

I don't mean for this to evolve around me... just getting complaints that theres never no one playing, was trying to spark interest in another day.
As I stated before, I work evening/nights 5 days out of the week, only off Sun and Mon nights, so my schedule don't allow enough gaming for me.
Sun, I play whatever the Game Club plays... then Monday... I play either SWAT4, AA, GR, or OFP depending on who I can find. lol
Don't worry about me...will play when I can, just wanted to see if interest/time for another day.
People just got to realize that finding TG members playing AA is harder then most other games...Magnum

We have a pretty solid group that plays, im sure posting a certain day and time we can get some players...even if we get some pubbies

BF2 is still the main game I play except for an hour or two of RO (and that will probably decrease), so name a night and I'll play. So, yea, BF2 and AA are pretty much it for me at TG, and I don't mind sharing
I really hope AA gets VOIP sometime soon.. We could get 4 or 5 together and let other folks fill in the rest of the slots and still get decent games. Since we have to use TS, it's kinda hard to communicate with the random server browser surfers.

will be in the next version, (but TG don't need it), also co-op missions and AI.

We do need it, probably moreso than other places! When it's just "us" on the server and TS, anyone else that joins is kinda at a disavantage. We've gotten pretty elitist with our server locking and such, not that I mind when we do that and will often be a promoter of locking the server, but it will be nice to be able to communicate with anyone that joins the server.

It's kinda like a crutch until you can fill in the rest of the spots with humans instead of bots.

perry just hates bots becuase they had his ass to him in single player BF2

well AA will still have the same, current and new force on force missions but now... for example, (especially with AA when it's hard to gather enough people for force on force)...
6 to 8, to 10 or 12...how many you want for a squad... can do co-op... imagine this, (and this directly from a developers mouth)...
Your squad is air dropped in the rear, your ordered to move up to a location of your choice... a convoy with a VIP, infantry support, and a couple of armor pieces is coming from point A to point B... you have to locate a good location, set up an ambush, using new weapons types like the Javalin... once you conduct the ambush, you have to reach the extraction point... all the time other civilian contacts are about, so you have to stay hidden and/or unseen...
Kinda like Joint Operations co-op missions, which were always fun but hard do to expert enemy, and not quite like there run and gun model, and no-respawning when you die.
I for one am greatly looking forward to the next version, the old AA will still be there, just with new options, new game play modes, new weapons and toys...
oh, and yes VOIP will be included, but like I said... when TG plays together Teamspeak is required, so I won't need VOIP since I don't play with anyone else.

I hardly ever get to play TG AA because it's on Friday nights, and I wish I could join in more often. I would definitely be interested in having another AA night sometime during the week. Perhaps on Wednesdays?
