...for the third time. Yes, I've downloaded and installed AA on three separate occaisions, but did not have the patience to finish the basic training to be able to get on a server. I haven't gone through it since I've been at TG, and now TG is my motivation to get going. Now, I'm going to strap in and hammer it out. Any tips you guys have to see me through?

There have been past threads about finding help on the E & E exercise--Cheats really--what path to go, who to shoot and when. I tried E & E 3 times before I broke down and found info that would help me. After that I made it through on the first try.
A thorough search on the TG site should yield a post or two with links that will help. No shame in it really...it's hard and I just wanted to get in combat with my fellow tg'ers so after failing on my own twice I had no guilt about finding help
Oh wow, I guess I do have the basic training under my belt. I loaded up an old account and it let me jump on a server. I do still need to go through the SF E&E training and the other advanced training.

just found this game at my brothers house he has never played it..thought I would bring it home with me and give it a try, is it worth installing, do you guys still play AA??
the new version is all messed up and we dont even play it anymore. Its got some bugs that really just ruin the game. Maybe if we reinstalld a previous version, so teh mac players could join in it might be worth it.

You guys let me know if you are gonna do that and I'll definitly show up for some games, maybe even bring some other mac players, I'm sure they would love to play with some fellow TGers.

I tried to play this game a few months ago and it just became a headache. Therefore, I uninstalled it and I thought it looked good but I had problems. How is it looking now?
You must have the 2.7 patch. Previous versions where good but this last one kind of killed it for alot of us. We usta get a good following on friday nights and have some amazing games. If i could find an old install of it i would try to get our server back with it but i havent had any luck
hi trooper, What happens if you download the special forces version 2.7 from fileshack? Can you play the entire game with this download? I know the download is large but perhaps that works
yeah you can download the entire install from there. 2.7 has some bugs that really have killed the game. 2.6 or earlier would really be nice to play. Its so much better then what you are able to see in this recent patch. For being a free game that the army puts out it has gotta alot of attention and has done some nice things to tactical FPS games.
It is not often that I encounter across myself when researching a topic. I found the following in a recent article on the uses of ethnography in virtual environments:

Took a gamble and got a refurbished 30 GB OCZ Vertex 1 off of NewEgg for the low, low price of $30. Had some trouble getting the drive to be recognized by Windows or by my BIOS. Had to use a jumper...
It has been almost 6 months now and I am still waiting for the second peer-review report to come in for my next book (this one is on the future of television).
