SOP Rules #4 and a recent kick

I have become irritated at this. My recent post was closed early and then also Eroak decided to think that I was lone wolfing ([10.21.2007 18:24:18] [Admin] Eroak is KICKING!!! for LONE WOLFING [Admin Decision]). First, I wanted to make a point that rule #4, section 1, informs “a non-supporting member.” How can I be kicked when my teamwork score is in the 40’s? Now, recently Eroak decided to kick me saying I was lone wolfing! I have played with plenty of TG people to know that I do not lone wolf. I am capable of lasting longer and end up getting excluded, and often have to make a trek back to the SL.

I think his action was totally uncalled for and was arbitrary. I also recommend that the “non-supporting” member be defined. Because I find it odd to have a high teamwork score and have my connection terminated. Now, if it was just longest person on the server then so be it. But if the rules are defined as someone who contributes to the game does not get kicked, then something is erroneous.

You need to address this to Eroak, not here in the gen forums.

I agree with those above who have said that you need to discuss this with Eroak in private. I will, however, seek to clarify a few things for you:

First, the reason for your kick does not have to do with Rule 4 Section 1 - of whichever set of rules that may be. It instead has to do with this, which I highly recommend you read: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...uidelines.html

You will find there the complete server rules for the 2142 servers. The reason for your kick was for not joining a squad - that is what Lone Wolfing is. A "Supporting Member" is a person who has paid to help keep the community running, by the way - the reason for your kick has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with that, as far as what you have said here.

In the meantime, to echo everyone else, please contact Eroak directly if you have any questions about what happened and why. I am sure that he can provide you with all the answers you may seek.

Re: SOP Rules #4 and a recent kick

the Non-supporting member kick, this does just kick the person who have been on the server the longest and is Non-supporting. Supporting members never get kicked as long as we follow the rules.

Re: SOP Rules #4 and a recent kick

Lone wolfing is also described as anyone making a single man locked squad. I do not know if this was your case or not.

Please PM Eroak directly or any one of the other Admins to work out these issues.

Just to correct you kickly Draeh, Although you somewhat have the right idea. Lonewolfing is the act of carrying out your own agenda and disreguarding your Team and/or squad(if any). Lonewolfing happens mostly when a person choses not to join a squad and act independently. But this can also happen while a person is in a squad and acts independent of the squad.

Locked one-man squad is a atempt to "outsmart" our kick script and still chose to play independent of a squad. This is also the act of lonewolfing, but not the defining rule of lonewolfing.

Anyone concerned about this can contact me via PM, I always have a open door policy and keep everything privite.
