Talking Claymore

How can you defuse these? I can see them but can I remove them?

Re: Claymore

Grenades also work, for C4 as well (if you have bomb squad active, you can see the results at a safe distance)

Re: Claymore

Also... don't stand in front of it when shooting the claymore. I saw some guy do this and it was funny.

Re: Claymore

Also you can run right by it and be gone before it explodes.

Re: Claymore

Bubba has been trying to perfect that art... doesn't work out for him as often as he'd like though, haha

Re: Claymore

Claymore is an essential kit item for any good sniper other than that I think its a bit unbalanced for any other class.

But they are easily defeated by nades, running by really fast or shooting them from an oblique.

Also perk 1 is specifically setup for extra "ammo" types and I use bandoleer for all other kits other than sniper so to each is own I suppose.

Re: Claymore

I don't think one can shoot something "from an oblique."

Re: Claymore

Besides protecting your rear as a sniper, I have found Claymores work in other instances:

On Ambush predominatly, but any map will work; place them in Windows, so they are at Chest level, people will trigger and they are quite effective at killing

They are best put to use (imo) side by side, that way when one is triggered, it doesn't kill the person, but it explodes the 2nd, which will surely kill the man.

Also, if you have an open Class, try creating one with Claymores and Sonic Boom, that will normally "seal the deal"

Re: Claymore

You can sprint past these pretty easily on Server 1, DON'T try it on Server 2.

And don't try it when I'm playing. I have mastered the art of the claymore.
