PC vs 360 comparison of stats...

Now this is just me, obviously others will think the the 360 is easier, and others the PC... the old controller vs mouse thing...

But one thing I noticed while playing both the PC version and the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 4. when it comes to THIS gamer, unless the Xbox 360 game has auto-lock features like some do, the PC is still easier...

I always thought I did pretty well on the PC, and pretty bad on the console... so I made it to LT in both games, then compared my stats... and was actually kinda surprised there wasn't a bigger gap...

for the MP PC:
Time to reach LT: 10 hrs 2 mins.
Score: 5813
Kills: 574
Headshots: 43
Assists: 150
Best Streak: 5
Deaths: 852

for the MP 360:
Time to reach LT: 12 hrs 36 mins. (2.5 hours longer then the PC)
Score: 6721 (don't understand how I got a better score on 360)
Kills: 568 (close)
Headshots: 59 (again more?)
Assists: 139
Best Streak: 10 (only because of one mission, got lucky, called in a airstrike, that killed enough for a helicopter, never got enough kills per game on the PC to call in air support, just UAV scan.)
Deaths: 965 (more on the 360, that makes sense, because those damn kids on XBL rape me daily, lol)

Like I said, kind of surprised consider I FEEL like I do better at the PC then the 360...
interesting thou, in the continued debate on which is better. I remember doing similar test with R6 Vegas, and the 360 controller clearly winning the stats, but then GRAW1 and 2, the PC won the stats.

Guess it all depends on the game.

I think the R6 Vegas test was a fairer comparison. It was a terrorist hunt instead of using online COD4 stats. Online play can vary greatly from the maps that get played to the player count. There are too many variables to get a decent comparison.

The stats are nice to see. It doesn't say much since I think that online play can really affect stats just like you were lucky getting the 10 kill streak on the 360. At best, I would conclude that you play roughly as well on the PC as the 360. I think it means you're pretty comfortable with either controller or keyboard/mouse.

For me, I'd probably suck bad with a controller. I don't have problems moving around and aiming but I'm definitely not as proficient as with a keyboard/mouse. Perhaps I feel more comfortable with a keyboard/mouse because it's what I've always used. Switching to another input method is just going against years of conditioning. And I'm stubborn about it.
