Another new guy to the server & boards

Greetings to you all!

First, I want to give my buddy AlienRanger a big thumbs up for referring me to the server and the website!

Next, I want to say thank you all for running an outstanding server!! I spent the last several hours playing some of the BEST games on your server. Period! Everyone was using VOIP and calling out direction of travel and giving each other covering fire so assaulter's could bound up and engage the other team at near point blank range.

Everyone was mature and it was amazing. The amount of TG folks varied but never seemed to get below 3 per side which I think really keeps out the riff raff. <tips hat to admins>
For the past several days I have been sludging thru servers trying to find the one that suits my playing style as well as my level of play and also my age. I hope you guys dont mind, but I think I am going to pull up a cot and stay awhile!

Oh and I do bring a cooler full of frosty cold beverages where ever I go. Again thanks for the great games tonight and look forward to many more!

Awesome, glad you found this place.

TG host's many different games and genres. I recommend you take a look at what we have to offer. The CoD admins are some of the best around and might I add, quite good looking(especially you Bubba). If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to let me or anyone of our super sexy admins know.

Well if your in the DC area the fridge is stocked and the pings are sweet sub 50-60s.

Dirtboy, you still in the ROK? I was there from 03-04 working with TROKA. Had a great time and looking to get back there as soon as I can. Because I am tired of pouring sand out of my boots!

As far as other games...
Name it and I own it. Bottom line, I have been gaming ever since I was handed a TRS-80 for Christmas back in '80! I'm a big fan of BF2, BF2142, GRAW2 and all the CODs.

You enjoy BF2 also?? Have you played the mods PoE2 or Project Reality?? They are very popular mods for BF2 here.
Hope you can get some time on our other servers too.

I'm from the KC area as well and you'll find the ping to pretty much all of the TG servers is good from here. Enjoy the tactical gameplay.

I'm another new guy on the COD4 server. This has to be on of the best servers I've been on. I really appreciate the "NO BUNNY HOPPING" rule.

I've seen VOIP mentioned, is this the built in chat to COD4, or is there something else I need to be looking for?

In-game VOIP. We have a TeamSpeak server with CoD4 channels, but it's mainly for issues requiring an admin and between round smack talk.

I do enjoy a challenge! At least as long as Kin3 and Bubba dont shoot me in the head while I try to nade an alley or climb a ladder! FF on is awesome but sure is painfully harsh when you get mowed down by your own teammates.

I think I might have teamkilled you last night. Haha, again sorry about that. I need to work on not killing my teammates so often. But welcome to the server, glad you enjoyed yourself. Last night was definitely the best night yet for me on COD4.
