Can someone explain the coloured camo to me?

Woodland green - I get it. Desert tan - makes sense to me. Even digital camo looks great in the urban settings. But red and blue? Help me out here, I'm not a military man. Where would you use red or blue camo?

Blue camo is for underwater and Red camo is for fighting on a volcano.

The blue/red camo is there for when the Spider-Man mod comes out..

yep that and the gold weapons.. gotta have your bling on one weapon and the red camo on the other..

You wouldnt unless your maybe..... in the russian military and i doubt they use that. Lol but as far as USMC and US Army standards go you have two uniforms (USMC) Digital Woodland and Digital Desert, the army however has the Army Combat Uniform. Now I have heard that the Army is again testing a new Combat Uniform which can be seen on Ghost Recon 2 and it looks a lot like that(also seen in Transformers 2 i believe its in testing with the Army Rangers). This is just small talk at the moment and nothing official. But it sure isnt that underwater/volcano stuff lol.

I think the purpose of red and blue tiger camo is the same as the purpose of gold camo-looks cool!
That said, I understand red tiger camo (red and black/grey stripes) but why is it called blue tiger? It's like woodland but blue instead of green.

For the longest time I thought the camo setting actually changed your full uni camo scheme. I guess it would be too hard to differentiate friend and foe with everyone running around in different unis.

yea, that would be bad. The different colors don't really worry me. One of things I really enjoy about cod4 is all of the different options available.

I actually like the red camo on some weapons, its way more subtle and less visible than the blue one. It's like one day on the field you got bored with your old G3 and put some red spraypaint on it. The blue camo is more like you accidentally dropped your gun in a bucket of blue....paint, or something. I notice the blue camo on other players in-game but I only see the red one when I'm speccing someone and it looks kinda cool to me.
