Re: New Opflash 2 pics

Heh looks very nice, I'd bet a limb that this won't be what you see when it's released though.

The forest on the left in the first pic looks amazingly real.

Nice of you to post these pics.

Re: New Opflash 2 pics

They're all "target renders", not actual in-game screenshots.

Re: New Opflash 2 pics

If they keep the things like the grass they will have the same pitfall ArmA has with performance. If they keep true to these screenshots, which I doubt, this will be a CPU hog.

I am just not optimistic when it comes to OFP2 being all it is cracked up to be after all these years of issues.

Re: New Opflash 2 pics

Wow very nice looking but it still doesn't say much about what the game will be like. These target renders could all be cut scene material. Time will tell.

Re: New Opflash 2 pics

The shots are pretty amazing; the best rendering of forest I have ever seen. It shows us what gaming will look like in 5 to 10 years. Hopefully with a VR helmet at 90 FPS .

Here is a shot from Dirt that uses the same engine. There are similarities and so the renderings may not be too fantasy.

Re: New Opflash 2 pics

I see a huge difference between those shots. Look at the distant background. Or at the foreground. Crisp on ofp2shots, blurry on the racing game.
