2.1 download ?

I hate to admit it, but even if someone explained it to me in detail I'd probably still struggle with figuring out how to download 2.1 using a torrent. It's a little beyond my scope of computer knowledge. Seeing that I can't wait to play the new maps, are there any other ways to download 2.1?

Thanks for responding so fast Lucky Shot. Everything went fine until after the patching process when I got a patch error that read: "old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match."
I read previous threads and did not see others with this particular problem, but may have overlooked this. Any ideas anyone? Maybe I'm just missing a previous file.

I don't have that answer. Post it up on the pointofexistence.com website but most likely you would be quicker to redownload it.

I encountered this same error when doing the 1.8 to 2.1 patch. I ignored it and haven't had any problems playing 2.1 yet.

I got that same error message as well. it was complaining about a '.con' file. POE played fine even with this message, i dont think its anything to worry about.

That's a known bug - just it "ignore" or whatever it is and continue the install. Don't cancel and you're fine.

I had the same thing happen to me. It seems to work without problems if you ignore it.

use this link to install the torrent is easy to use check out azureus as a torrent downloader

i had all the same problems with the install process untill i used this torrent from gameupdates
